Workshop on GeoPython at IEEE GRSS Hackathon
Abstract
In April 2023, as one of the YP members at GRSS Bangalore section, I conducted a workshop on GeoPython as part of the Geospatial Technology for Sustainable Development (GTSD) hackathon for students to tackle real-world challenges related to SDGs in 5 different research tracks. I spoke about mambaforge installation for geospatial python packages, Spatio Temporal Asset Catalog and cloud-native NDVI derivation, visualising Earthquake data on Kepler GL and also Open Data Registry on AWS. Also, I was part of the organising team and also the host of the online hackathon.
